Is eToro legit or a scam?
The most frequently asked questions about a Forex platform is: is it a scam or not?
Well the answer is NO, I believe most platforms are not scam(which mean they don't simply get you deposit and run away) But yes, most platforms don't operate like as those scam-shouters expected.
Similar to eToro, the first thing I searched about it was whether it's legit or not. But trust me, you won't find the answer until you actually TRY it out.
Nevertheless in case you still want some proofs, below are some screenshots that may help:

Email of Withdrawal:
There are a lot of technical errors(maybe once or twice a month) on the eToro copytrader, luckily they do compensate you(sometimes if not always maybe? Cause I don't even know the trades were errored as I don't watch every trades which I copy, there are HUNDREDS of them...) But yea better than nothing
And a brief history of my fund recently:
Below are my advice on verifying a platform is legit or not:
1. Google
2. Don't Turst everything on Google, not because people review it are going to scam you, it's because there are AFFILIATE programme for most forex platforms. People tend to over praise the platforms to get more conversion.
3. TRY it YOURSELF. Just deposit $50 to do some trades and then withdraw them. If you can't afford to lose $50? Don't even try forex :p
4. Deposits are always INSTANT. But Withdrawal may take DAYS. Cause guess what, people want to scam the platform more than the platform wants to scam people! So provide your real information when you register an account to avoid extended verification process when you withdraw..
And for eToro, I would say that it won't scam your money away... But is it a great platform? I would say no as it tends to react slow on price change, you may miss some opportunities when big news come out like non-farm payroll.. Use meta4 trader if you are professional..
Well you wouldn't be professional if you are googling this :p eToro is great for amateur like me, simply no-brainer huh :)

caraj51
caraj51 - The most copied trader on eToro. As shown on the image above there are more than 11500 copiers! (I am one of them :p) If he is a broker he must be able to earn millions per month with this number of clients.
Why there are so many people willing to copy him? Of course - Profit. But more importantly - Stable Profit.
Unlike Dellos(100% HIGH RISK TRADES, MAN), caraj51 is a medium - low risk trader, yet he is able to make +50% in every 6 months, any reason not to copy him?
But recently people started to doubt his trades - that he started to get bullish to USD since September. You should know that tapering did NOT happen at September, which made USD VERY bearish, so all his trades like sell EUR and buy USD went red seriously. The worst moment was like 2 weeks ago, nearly -60% as far as I noticed.
Fortunately(maybe under he plan.. :p), after FOMC on 29th Oct and weak data on Euro, USD finally is getting stronger, his trades should be able to turn green soon.
Below is a bit real stat of me copying him for 3 months.
Earned profit - Current Profit - Total Profit
Well $48.6 is not much judging from the amount of money I put on him, but after this USD crisis, the Total Profit should look more beautiful.
By the way what most people are curious about should be is caraj51 a real human trader or not? I am confident to say that NO! There is no person named caraj51, at least the picture is not the operator of this account. He gotta be stealing picture from someone from India who doesn't use a computer... :p My best guess is a team of people operate this account.
Anyway if you only care about profit, you can considering copying him(them)!
P.S.
Why a team? Look at his profile:
Money Management, Fundamental Analysis, Technical Analysis and Patience Trading. Good Luck
Now find certain other gurus on eToro, you may notice that they have the same profile description! PLUS some random Indian guys picture muahahahaha! Now copy all of them if you trust this caraj51 trades!

Viktor Dellos
As mentioned in the beginning, I use eToro for trading Forex. A main feature of this platform is copy trading, which you copy all trading activities from a trader.
'Viktor Dellos' is one of the famous trader on this platform, around 7000 people are copying this guy as of today. Why? Let's take a look at his amazing stat:

Many people suspect that Viktor Dellos is actually a bot, but not a human trader. I sometimes wonder too, but who really cares? As long as he continues to make us profit :)
'Viktor Dellos' is one of the famous trader on this platform, around 7000 people are copying this guy as of today. Why? Let's take a look at his amazing stat:
He gained more than 700% in 6 months! Who on earth can do that? Below is my personal stat after copying this guy for 2 months with several hundred dollar:
Look, he earned me $1,600! So did I get rich from copying him? Why don't you look at the 'Current Profit' at the moment... Yes, -$1,275... This guy is freaking crazily high-risk trader, all his trades are like x400 or x200 leverage... So copying him is simply like riding rollar-coaster haha
I have mentioned that I am down -20% currently, Dellos 'contributed' a lot to that too, let's take a look how mess up his(well, copied to mine) portfolio is currently:
Speechless huh? Me too lol. Yet I and you should understand that by the time you copy a trader, you take full responsibility of your trading account, but not the copied trader.
Luckily I am not stupid enough to copy all my funds on him and his 'shadow accounts'(Accounts that trade the same pairs as Dellos all the time), I could win 700% by doing that, but more likely blow my account eventually haha. Relying on him is just too risky.
Another interesting thing about Dellos is that he never speaks human words. On his eToro wall, all he says is quotes from the bible. Whenever his trades are messed up like at the moment, many of his copiers would spam on his wall and talk sh** on him. He would like quote something like 'Believe in your god' or 'Have Faith'. But when his trades go green(His green trades are usually >100%... crazy), he and the copiers will start to quote "Oh, thank god!", "Amen".... Kind of funny to watch.
Many people suspect that Viktor Dellos is actually a bot, but not a human trader. I sometimes wonder too, but who really cares? As long as he continues to make us profit :)

The Beauty of Forex - High RIsk, High Gain(Loss)!
Image speaks: ( From eToro mobile app)
Look at my gains on the same day within 2 hours:
Look at my loss(well not yet realized... but not looking good) 3 hours later:
This AUD/USD pair just killed me :p
My Trades are all:
$125 x400 leverage
However now I have to put thousands to extend the stop loss....
P.S. People sometimes argue that you shouldn't extend your stop loss, as that makes 'Stop Loss' meaningless... Well.. It's easy to say, not to easy to do right? hhahaa

The Start of My Forex Journey
About me? I am a young guy, turning into not so young guy in a few years..
So my journey begin....
Well actually it has already begun 3 months ago. Just like most of the people, I have the concept that forex is a extremely high risk area to invest, ordinary persons like myself shouldn't even touch it. However I found out that a platform called eToro that offer 'Copy Trading' function, that basically allows you to copy all trading activities from another trader.(No-brainer huh?)
I have a stable full-time job and saved up some money from the past 2 years. I have been investing in stocks and online businesses and had some success. So I have some extra money to invest in forex.
One important thing is invest in high risk things like Forex, in my opinion, is never use your living money. Say if you plan to save $1000USD monthly(that's how much you need to save if you want to buy a flat and have a future life in my place!), make sure you save it/invest it in lower risk products. And then you put the extra into forex. By that way you can at least make sure that Forex won't f**k up your life like you see some other people roaring around on the internet. :p
Chart of My 3 months Stat
Green line represents the 'Realized equity', which means that all the money that has been 'realized'. For example if you have $100 initially, and then you make a open trade and that is now in +30%, your realized equity is still $100. Only after you close the trade, your Realized equity will become +30%, which is $130.
Blue line represents the 'Total equity', which in contrast include the value of all open trades. For example if you have $100 initially, and then you make a open trade and that is now in +30%, your total equity is $130 before and after you close the trade.
So for sure, you will be happy if you have all positive trades. But it's not possible in reality. Look at my stat, I had many positive trades that made my Realized Equity nearly +50% in 3 months, but the Total Equity is currently down about 20%! It's because the sudden huge raise of AUD/USD and NZD/USD pairs yesterday. I'll explain later why it took up so much of my capital.
The 20% is 5 figures in my account...(Yes I have so much money hahahaha). But guess what, that's Forex! Never lose hope until the lost is 'Realized' haha..
We'll talk later...
